How Much Money Actually Goes to the End of World Hunger?
Money coming in to FeelGood comes from three places:
- Donations raised by students at FG Delis
- Investments* from individuals
- Investments* from companies
*We say “investment” instead of “donation” because it is a more appropriate word for the partnership we are trying to create with the developing world.
Donations from Delis:

FeelGood's goal is to donate 100% of our Deli’s profit margin (deli donations – deli costs) to either The Hunger Project or Millennium Promise. Each university chapter gets to choose which organization (or both) they would like to support.
While we try to keep our deli costs as close to zero as possible by helping chapters get cheese, bread, equipment, etc. donated, not everything is donated and thus we do incur some deli costs.
Investments from Individuals:
Individuals can choose where they want their money to go. If we get a donation that doesn’t specify where they want their money to go, it goes to either General or Students Education, depending on funding needs:
- 100% to either THP or MP
- 100% to Student’s Education (i.e. conferences, educational materials)
- 100% to General (newsletter, advertising, recruitment, operations, compensation, etc.)
- 100% to a Specific Chapter
Investments from Companies:
FeelGood offers companies a unique opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility while simultaneously accessing a unique market audience: college students. Take a look at an example of the type of partnership we are looking for (please note this proposal was never used).
