Alumni & Friends
Alumni & Friends

You don’t have to be in college to be part of this exciting community.
Whether your college days are ahead of you, behind you, or simply not in your plans, there are many ways for you to connect and contribute to this vitally important movement.
Start by becoming part of FeelGood 4 Life—our association of alumni and friends. It’s free, and it connects you to a growing community of people who are expressing their authentic partnership for a complete humanity in all aspects of their lives.
Then, participate in the monthly Changemaker Journey, either on your own, or better yet, with a group of your friends, co-workers or family members. Some Journeys are specific to the running of the students’ Changemaker Delis, but many others are ideal for anyone who wants to further develop their skills as a changemaker.
Best of all, just like the students, you too can take Changemaker Challenges and earn valuable Cheese Points—FeelGood’s online currency. You can cash these points in yourself for products that support the FeelGood movement, or donate them to the FeelGood college chapter of your choice or to the general FeelGood fund. Either way, you’ll be supporting the development of the next generation of changemakers, and helping to end world hunger at the same time.
How cool is that?

About FeelGood 4 Life (FG4L)
From the corporate world to Teach for America to government, FeelGood alumni and friends continue to inspire us all with their amazing passion to create positive, lasting change.
In 2009 FG4L began a series of new events and programs to continue to contribute to the FeelGood movement. Here are just a few of the cool ventures they’re starting:
Happy Hour to Empower: In NYC, Taryn Ross, University of Vermont (UVM) graduate, started a series of happy hours to spread FeelGood’s hunger-ending philosophy and to fundraise for FeelGood. Taryn works on Wall Street and is FG4L’s co-chair.
Facebook B-Days: Jason Walter, University of Texas graduate, used Facebook Causes to raise money for FeelGood, asking people to contribute as a way to celebrate his birthday. Jason works in Environmental Consulting in Washington, D.C.
Restaurant Program: In Seattle, Tricia Selin (FG4L co-president) and Leah Grossman, both UVM graduates, launched FeelGood’s Restaurant Program and have already signed up their first restaurant, Hattie’s Hat. Tricia is a research biologist and Leah works in sales and marketing.
Blogs & Training: In Portland, Margaret Petrarca, also a UVM graduate, works for AmeriCorps Vista, and her new experiences have inspired her to start a FeelGood blog and on-line training program for FeelGood Students, focused on volunteer management and living an intentional life after FeelGood.
FeelGood Jewelry: Lauren O’Sullivan, FeelGood friend, has started a FeelGood Bracelet line to fundraise for FeelGood. See it soon at our 2010 On-Line Store!
Once a FeelGooder, always a FeelGooder! Making daily activities an opportunity to give back and connect with the world is the FeelGood way of loving the world.
