This month the focus is all on hunger. We start by taking a deep dive into a core issue for hunger and poverty eradication: Gender Equality. Next we look at the strengths and weaknesses of micro-finance as a tool for ending hunger. And lastly we take an in-depth look at the work of our partners in a special Country Focus.

Gender Equality
In our journey to end hunger, we find ourselves constantly reassessing our relationship to each other and the earth based on our interconnectedness. This week’s journey is an opportunity to take in and reflect on the reality of thousands of years of oppression toward women. It’s also an opportunity to start thinking about how we all contribute to this problem, and how each of us are the key to creating a new and fulfilling vision where women and men work together in co-creating our future.
