Welcome to the FeelGood Blog, a community that brings together all aspects of FeelGood: Students, FG4L, THP, FeelGood World and beyond. My name is Margaret Petrarca, UVM FeelGood alum, current AmeriCorps VISTA at the United Way of Greater Portland in Maine and your new blogging president!

Since graduating UVM and starting a new chapter of my life in Maine I have come to realize just how big FeelGood really is. We are dispersed across the nation and although I even live with a FeelGood Alum (Melissa Stimson) I still do not have enough FeelGood in my life. There is nothing that can compare to the feeling of spending everyday with a group of 20 plus individuals who are inspired to be changemakers and pursue their passion for the human family.

The optimism, spirit and dedication of FeelGood members is extremely unique and now that I am entering the “real world” I can see, more than ever, that our vision of ending world hunger and becoming socially responsible citizens is essential to the future of a world free form oppression!

So, we must keep the conversation going (by using the blog) during our time as FeelGooders and after as we begin new journeys and adventures! Post, read and comment but most importantly use this blog to connect with other FG chapters, get tips for ways to run your deli, share advice about life after college, learn what is happening with THP, network and have fun!
