How to end world hunger, one grilled cheese at a time!

7 Steps to Getting Your Deli Up and Running - Setting up your bank account

Financial integrity is incredibly important to FeelGood's ability to effectively contribute to a world free from hunger. When our customers donate, they trust that we are doing everything we can to keep their money safe, our costs low and our impact high. Therefore it is vital that we keep good track of every penny you raise and spend and keep it locked up in the bank after the day is over.

Two Options:

  1. Wachovia: FeelGood has a national bank account with Wachovia. So if there is a branch near you, you can deposit your money into the bank each week. We will also give you checks for you to pay for your expenses. Each time you make a transaction, FeelGood's accountant will track it carefully online and will be making sure that your bank transaction reconcile with your online reports (next page). Banking through Wachovia is the simplest way to track money and make donations to THP.
  2. Student Organization Bank: Wachovia might be the easiest way to go when it comes to banking, however, we have found that many universities don't allow registered student organizations to bank outside of the university. If this is the case, no problem. Just set up a bank account with your university and be sure to deposit the money after each day of sales. You will then request for your university bank to send FeelGood a check each month. FeelGood will then send that money to THP on behalf of your organization.

Whether you are banking with Wachovia or your university you must fill out the online sales form each week! More info on the next page:)
