Welcome - letter from the Executive Director

Dear Devoted Students,

I am so excited to share with you the significant impact you are about to have on this world.
You will be having fun, taking action, making sandwiches, raising money to end world hunger, and spreading the news that hunger can indeed be ended. You are making the dream of FeelGood come true. You are changing the world in what might seem like a small way now, but will soon be bigger than you might imagine.

Imagine this: You are coming back to school five years from now for a visit. While walking
on campus, you see a line of people outside a cute kiosk. As you get closer you see a beautiful bold green sign that says FeelGood. You smile and get in line. No one around you knows that you were among those who started this national non-profit student organization. No one knows that you were the one who brought FeelGood to your campus, built this kiosk, created this student organization, and did all of the other hard but necessary work to make it happen. A friendly young woman takes your order and you look around at the moving displays about The Hunger Project and the epicenter in Ethiopia your university has built and continues to sponsor. "Help us reach our goal of $200,000" says a sign behind the counter. You put your donation in the box and pick up a pamphlet about FeelGood. You notice there are 50 locations around the US in which $5 million dollars was raised last year. You also read that world hunger has been reduced by 25% since 2005, and you know that this means millions of people were given the means to unleash their spirits and live productive lives.

This is what each and every one of you are a part of. Your commitment, ambition, hard work, and dedication are lighting up this world.

I am honored that you are going to be bringing this light to your campus and your community. I am here to help you be successful in raising money and having fun. This start-up package is just one way in which FeelGood tries to make it easy for you to succeed. So enjoy, and don’t get overwhelmed, this will only help.
